Jupiter and the Galilean moons.
Viewed through my 4" TT Dobsonian using a Celestron zoom lens.
Jupiter was incredibly rewarding for a while tonight. There were two pale pinkish bands on an off white background. No detail was visible. The moons were needle point sharp and I was able to distinguish the two larger moons from the smaller ones.
I would love to do this on a daily basis to reproduce the famous discovery by Galileo but clouds say otherwise.
